Until a very long time even having been acquainted with the idea of therapy, I never thought I would ever be going to a psychologist myself. But, just like everyone else I too was struggling to get through a phase which costed me my mental peace, sleep, happiness and my positive energy, which resulted in me being aggressive, weak, irritated and annoyed. It was an indication enough for me to realize that I need a professional help in order to release my stress before it turns to something bigger.
I approached a mental health expert and started my therapy sessions. With every step my therapist guided me through, I could realize my inner self was healing and my insights were getting redesigned. I also realized how much we are I need of mental health experts to fight our everyday battle with our inner selves.
After my therapy sessions were over, I could feel myself much more lighter on the inside. Everything that was holding me down, every negative thought which was taking all my energy, every unanswered question I was asking myself, was address in my therapy and no my therapist didn't answer my questions, rather made me come up with the answers myself.
To go seek help from a psychologist was the best decision i took for myself. i am in a much better place mentally.
I would suggest to everyone reading this, seek help from the experts to adress your mental health issues. Every problem is a problem enough to be treated no matter how big or small it is. Mental peace is not something you should take for granted

It's been a great experience with Dr. Preeti. She is an amazing listener, and is exactly what you'd expect from a psychologist - someone who knows her stuff, doesn't give away the answers directly, but she gets the patient to dig deeper into his/her own patterns identify the answers so that any underline issue also surfaces. I am seeing a massive progress in my mental health, a lot of credits goes to her.

Like anyone I was always reluctant to go and even more reluctant to share. But I have found Dr. Preeti extremely professional, understanding and helpful. She never made me feel as though there is something wrong with me. Rather the sessions and therapy with her have provided me with coping skills, encouragement, and endless support I needed. With her counselling I have been able to gain some valuable insights about myself and I've always felt that I was understood and that my experience is valid. This entire process has now helped me to let go of the baggage of emotions I was carrying around only to burden to me and hindering my experience of life. I am so thankful to her and would recommend her to anyone strongly!

Depression lies. It tells me I'm worthless and useless and unlovable, and those thoughts gave me suicidal thoughts. I share these thoughts with my therapist and she helped me to understand that what I'm experiencing. We talk about why I have these thoughts and how to stop them and it's been helpful for me. Therapy has taught me that I can't expect my problems to be fixed on their own. I need to work to get them out of my life, and that's not always easy at all. But in the end it's worth it.
My therapist spoke to me like I was a person just like her and she made me feel human again. I can't really tell anybody how I changed, but if you knew me beforehand, I am so much better at things. It was a great way to become accountable for my mental health, and I am so happy and healthy now.
